RATES & DESCRIPTION
PDF to DOCX/PPTX (DTPP) / Live, editable pages / Simple
Automatic OCR of documents and minimal editing. Perfect for very simple editable documents.
Steps we take:
• OCR.
• Our specialist will remove odd section breaks after each page—the result of automatic OCR—and set up headers and footers.
• The specialist will check the document for broken sentences and remove anything out of place, which will improve the quality of the translation.
• A specialist will check the document for odd tags in the text and remove them.
Please note that this algorithm does not work for all types of documents. If the document contains tables (especially tables with invisible borders), pictures with text, graphs and diagrams, then they will be broken after automatic OCR. Visually, everything will look fine, but if you include non-printable characters, you will see the problem immediately.

1. Non-printable characters are turned on here:
If you see a similar situation on other pages, then there is a problem with that document.
2. Please check how many section breaks there are in the document. To do this, double-click in the top field of the document. The header and footer mode should turn on. Then scroll to the last page of the document. The section number on the last page will show the total number of sections in the document. If the number of sections is the same or more than the number of pages, this document needs to be prepared for translation.
3. Please check how the tables were formatted. If the tables were recreated as text boxes or as text with tabs, then this document requires more careful preparation for translation than Simple.

4. Please check how many tab characters are in the document. To do this, turn on the search mode and type the search command ^t as shown in the picture:
Then press Enter (for PC). The number of tabs in the document will be displayed at the bottom:
In a document ideally prepared for translation, there should be no tabs at all. A small number of tabs is allowed in special places, for example in the table of contents with cross-references, where it is impossible to do without them. As a rule, a document is re-saved automatically, there are too many tabs, which means that this document needs more careful preparation for translation than Simple.
