Steps we take:
• The text is copied from the document into a bilingual table.
• If it is non-editable, then we will proofread it for odd characters.
• If there are paragraphs in the document that feature bold, italicized, or underlined text, it will be saved so the formatter could know which word should be highlighted in the translation.
• The text from each page will be placed in the table twice: the left column has the ‘Hidden’ property, which hides it from CAT tools, but allows you to see both versions of the text (source and translation) after translation.

We also have a separate service, “creating bilingual documents”. For example, this is relevant for contracts & agreements where the signatories speak different languages. The text can be placed in different ways.

One part of the text is hidden; this will help create a bilingual document right after the translation.

The difference between this service and a bilingual table is in the way it looks: the text here is formatted properly, with all paragraphs and table structures.
